The Sandberg’s got a car this week and we are going to take full advantage of it. Today we drove to Wartberg Castle. This is where Martin Luther translation of the New Testament from Greek into German. It took him ten months, it brought the Bible to the masses and revolutionized the modern German language. “The Martin Luther Bible was to the German speaking Christians what the King James Bible would be to the English speaking Christians.” He also wrote several hymns one of which was “A Mighty Fortress is our God” this day was very interesting and highly educational. Martin Luther was an instrument in Gods hands.
We concluded the day back at our Stake center watching a performance by Gentry. An LDS group from Utah. This was their first night of a European tour.
